Deanna is best known for her unique hand-weaved baskets. her technique was grained while learning basketmaking and weaving a the Xa’ytem Longhouse Interpretive Centre, in historic Hatzic, British Colombia. Over time, Deanna has chosen to work with pine needles and is her preferred medium.

Her artistry brings great joy and as such , has been teaching her craft to all ages for over 20 years. 

Deanna calls the Fraser Valley home and gains great inspiration from the abundant rivers and mountainous landscapes it offers.
