Artist Statement

Working collage has been a great experience for me, there is always a female figure as the central theme, I really don’t know how I’m going to do, I start by pasting newspaper or magazine clippings, and so little by little I visualize how my project will be, I also love to add textures and last I apply the acrylic paint.

Artist Biography

I was born in Mexico City, I studied ENAP visual arts, I worked in the editorial field in children’s book publications, I taught painting and drawing classes to children, I painted children’s murals.
I arrived in my new country Canada almost 10 years ago, I won the contest to paint the children’s murals at the Library downtown Chilliwack, I have participated in a constant way in some art fairs, I like a lot and I enjoy giving children’s painting classes and adults, I collaborate with my clients in personalized way in children’s picture books publications.
