Artist Statement:
This work and its associated series and styles are from my most recent creative development in digital art. I incorporated my affinity for vibrant colours but used more organic textures and simple patterns to emulate fine art mediums.

The enlarged faces capture nonchalant or indifferent expressions of women. These expressions can be seen as a social faux pas, challenging the idea of saving face in social contexts particularly influenced by gender norms and expectations.
