The Abbotsford Arts Council is pleased to announce the open call for our third annual Big Tiny show! This is an exclusively in-person show hosted at the Kariton Art Gallery featuring hundreds of tiny works of art. 

The Big Tiny is open to artists of all skill levels, but the final artwork presentation must measure 4″ x 4″. These can be works on canvas, wood panel, or even paper, fabric, or photographs! The AAC invites local artists of all skill levels and ages to create works of diverse styles, subject matters, and mediums. 

All work submitted must fit the exact size requirements and works not on stretched canvas or cradled wood panels must be framed. For framed pieces, the frame itself must be 4″ x 4″, making the actual art even tinier!

Non-members are limited to 3 submissions. Members may submit up to 10 pieces.

Each piece displayed will be priced at $75 and subject to the standard 30% commission if sold. You can also elect to donate all the proceeds to the Abbotsford Arts Council if you want to support more community arts programming. Purchased pieces will remain on display until the end of the exhibition.

That’s right, no awkward waiting period to see if your piece is accepted – provided your artwork complies with out Code of Conduct, you’re in! And the best part is, it’s free to submit. Submissions must be in accordance with our code of conduct.

Submission Deadline:
All submissions must be dropped off at the Kariton Art Gallery by 3pm Saturday, May 11, 2024. The Kariton is open Thursday – Saturday from 11 – 3pm.
