Artist Statement

My interest is in design and because its everywhere I ‘m involved in many media. I seem to be drawn to trees and many of my photos are a series of trees. As a watercolourist I’m interested in statements about women. One continuous series is called ‘Real women don’t need wedding dresses’ with an underlying theme about how women support women.

Artist Biography

I’ve been drawing and painting for 50 years. I’ve studied at a number of schools here in BC and NYC. I’ve taught Watercolour , drawing and printmaking to elementary school children in after school programs and evening classes for adults. I’m currently working on filming my watercolour classes to stream online. I’ve won some awards and had a few One Person shows of my paintings.
