Artist Statement

There are lots of photographers that I wouldn’t trust to take a photo of me, because most lack the intentionality required to be able to not only capture black skin beautifully, but also edit black skin beautifully. My work revolves around allowing people to shine as they know how to, from the conversations we have, the clicking of my camera, to the post production of the images. Editing black skin requires more than the cookie cutter method that is heavily prevalent in the photography industry.

Artist Biography

I am a photographer, and I specialize in portraiture. What I care about the most about my work are the connections I’m blessed to make with each individual that I get to photograph.
