Artist Statement:
After years working with oils, my mediums of choice are pastels and acrylics. My favorite subjects are the ocean, old things (cars & Buildings), pets, children at play and anything that catches my interest. I get inspiration a lot from working with other artists.

Artist Bio:
Kate is a self-taught artist who received encouragement and ideas at a young age from her Dad who was an artist as well. She is a past member of the Association of Atlantic Amateur Artists, Mississauga Artist Workshop, The Abbotsford Palette Club and The Port Kells Artists. After years working with oils, her mediums of choice pastels and acrylics. Kate is a member of the Langley Arts Council and has displayed her work in the Incognito Shows as well as other Open Calls for themed shows. Now retired and living in Pioneer Park, Kate is an active member of the Art Group in this community and is creating more than ever.
