Artist Statement
I created this painting for a watercolour clothing study during an art class. Clothing and fashion has always been one of the best ways for me to express myself, and with clothing comes gender expression. Sometimes I want to dress masculine and other times I want to dress feminine. This painting and the bright complimentary colours is a representation of how when I dress in a way that makes feel good, I beam with positive energy, which makes me stand out.
