Artist Statement:
Inspired by the harmony of colors in nature and everyday life I have created functional and wearable art using silk dyes, acrylic and oil paints on fabric, canvas, wood and passionate about creating art in all media. Eagerness of learning, creating, inspiring and teaching always pleases me and develops the creative aspect of my life.

Artist Bio:
Amandeep K Gill was born and raised in India and living in Canada for thirty years. She has passion for variety of paints and fabrics since her childhood. She is self taught and always wants to learn and create. Last few years she created art using acrylic and oil paint on canvas capturing landscapes, cityscapes, flowers and birds. On blank canvas with her brush strokes the mountains, the valleys, the flowers come to life and speak to everyone. She wants to continue to create paintings and wearable art for the community.
