Nancy Duck Hildebrand

I’m a mixed media painter based in Abbotsford. My artwork is inspired

by natural landscapes, texture and colour. Being creative and getting

outside are life-giving ways of life for me as a working mom of three. I

make art to connect with the natural world around me, and in the

process, I hope to inspire others.

Each painting holds intricate components from my collection of

heirlooms, pressed leaves, handmade papers and other found objects.

My studio name, Delight-Filled Leaves Art, captures the essence of how

I’m inspired by nature, sparked by a line of poetry by Wendell Berry: “To

sit and look at light filled leaves…”
