Artist Statement:
A scene looking down the Fraser Valley, including Mt. Baker.
Artist Bio:
I was born in England at the end of the Second World War.
Brought up in Manitoba and lived on the prairies until 1991 and moved to Abbotsford with Lois and our family.
Took art lessons , with oils in the early 90’s and have moved to water colour ,specifically pen and wash.
I like to paint buildings and local scenes with an eye to the past, I am a student of history and am interested in our past.
I have done a number of commissions of farmsteads, prairie and other scenes.
I am a director of th Abbotsford Arts council and do other volunteering in the community.
I am happy to call Abbotsford home.
