Artist Statement

This pieces is an experimental study in colour, texture and technique. It represents a variety of interests and methods all with the theme of exploring personal aesthetics.

Artist Bio

Susannah White is a Canadian visual artist who lives and creates on the unceded territory of the Sema:th and Mathexwí First Nation. She is Secondary school art teacher who studied Fine Arts and Education at UFV and UBC. She makes art work that reflects her life experiences, emotional state of being as well as the beauty and challenges of humanity. Her art process is a continuous experimentation of the aesthetics of mark making, colour exploration and their connections to mental well being.
