Artist Statement

“Klimt Craft” is an (ongoing) experimental series taking visual elements from the work of Gustav Klimt and combining it with craft materials associated with women and girls such as thread, jewels, and stickers.

Artist Bio

Rei van Liempt is an artist who draws inspiration from artists and illustrators such as Kay Nielsen, Yoshitaka Amano, and Gustav Klimt. Her works are mixed media, utilizing materials like watercolour and gold thread.
