Artist Statement

With the use of everyday household items, I’ve created assemblages. I am trying to find order amongst the current unpredictability of life during the pandemic.

I have been at home in Vancouver during quarantine. My experience has been mostly positive and reflective during this time of uncertainty. I am looking at things differently these days including all the items surrounding me and how I use them on a daily basis.

Artist Bio:

Louise is a contemporary artist working out of her studio in East Vancouver. Normally working in 2D as a painter, she is discovering assemblage and enjoying the shift in her creativity.
