We invited a host of local artists to respond to a simple challenge: create an artwork inspired by a single word.

The result is In a Word — a celebration of language, meaning, and imagination. Each piece transforms one word into something visual, tangible, and uniquely expressive. Together, these works explore how words can spark emotion, tell stories, and shape the way we see the world.

Join us at the Kariton Art Gallery for the opening reception on Saturday, February 7, from 12–2pm, and experience how one word can speak volumes.
