Artist Bio

Alison Chisholm has dedicated her life to the arts. After growing up in Hamilton, Ontario, her passion for the arts took her to Montreal to study theatre and arts administration at Concordia University. As part of her schooling she took on an apprenticeship at Pacific Theatre which led to a life and career out west. While primarily an arts administrator, she is accepting herself as an artist more and more, and is pursuing more opportunities to share her own art. She has created and producing under her own company, Whirlwind Theatre Productions, performed musical improv with Off Key Improv, sang with the VOC Sweet Soul Gospel Choir. Since moving to Abbotsford in 2020, She found an interest in embroidery and has been showcasing her works locally at Cru Studios and the Kariton Art Gallery. Her work will be featured in a fiber arts exhibit at the Kariton Art Gallery this coming summer, and she looks forward to hitting the stage again in April with Fraser Valley Stage.
