Epilepsy in Full Color

The Centre for Epilepsy and Seizure Education in BC is proud to present Epilepsy in Full Colour, a special art exhibit at the Kariton Art Gallery from April 5 – 26, 2025. This unique event is geared to all ages and celebrates the creative expressions of people whose lives have been touched by epilepsy—whether they are living with epilepsy, caregivers, supporters, or loved ones. The exhibit follows Purple Day on March 26th, the Global Day of Epilepsy Awareness, and continues the momentum by highlighting stories of resilience, creativity, and strength through art.

The theme, Beyond Diagnosis, focuses on joys, challenges, personal growth, identity, and life beyond the medical label of epilepsy. It provides an opportunity to explore the unseen struggles and visible strengths of people of any age affected by epilepsy, showcasing their individuality and courage.

This exhibit is more than an art display—it is a celebration of community, connection, and the vibrant tapestry of experiences surrounding epilepsy. Whether you’re an artist, a supporter, or a visitor, we invite you to join us on this inspiring journey of self-expression and awareness. Let’s paint a picture of resilience, strength, and life beyond diagnosis, as we carry forward the spirit of Purple Day throughout April.
