Artist Statement:
There is a beauty in the mourning of something holy. There is a beauty behind every broken thing. So Eden sank to grief is a reminder that as we go through our earthly disgraces and mishappenings, there is something greater mourning alongside us. A feminine and maternal love, quietly cheering us on, supporting and nurturing us. Her gold crown signifies her majesty, cementing the idea that there is something more
powerful than us.
Artist Bio
Art has been my passion since a young age. I am thankful to have been raised in a family that recognized my desire to pursue art and supported me with lessons to help my artistic ability to bloom. I have taken private lessons in watercolour since I was very young, and have also had the opportunity to take a course on hyperrealistic drawing under a traditional art master. I have lived in Abbotsford, British Columbia my entire life, and have been involved in the artistic community as an art instructor. I am now pursuing a career in tattooing. My other passions include literature, sciences and travelling. Art has always been the most influential part of my life and I am excited to continue to pursue an artistic career and lifestyle.
