Artist Statement

I create realistic and abstract paintings that connect you to life. When I choose the subject of my realistic painting I look for compelling natural beauty, inherent design, visual rhythm, patterns of light, or sentiment. Somehow, mysteriously, an image gives me joy which I also want my viewer to feel. I work in layers for my abstract paintings. They are an exploration of possibilities. My goal is to connect you with the energy and intrigue I experience as I reveal the final image.

Artist Bio

Cori Soles, AFCA is an artist from the west coast of Canada. She loves nature and the presence of design she notices all around her. More than anything, her inspiration comes from looking closely and feeling her response to her subject.
