The Abbotsford Arts Council is currently looking for Indigenous beadwork artists. Artworks will be part of a quarterly exhibition hosted in the Downie Wenjack Legacy space at the Kariton Gallery. 

Submission deadline is April 1, 2022. 
An honorarium will be provided to the selected artist.

The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund aims to build cultural understanding and create a path toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples. 

With this in mind, the Abbotsford Arts Council and Kariton Gallery are seeking artwork for our quarterly Legacy Space exhibitions from Indigenous artists that spark conversation around Gord Downie’s call to action for reconciliation, “Do something”.
