Jordyne Bird
I have always been a inspired by dierent forms of tattoo art. I have also always been inspired by nature (but what artist hasn’t). The combination of the two has always come very naturally for me.
Using the tape to create the border allowed me to have a great base to start on. Thinking of the snake came once i got the idea to use the loofah to dry brush scales. The glitter was used on the snake as well as in the border dots.
I then cut up the pipe cleaner fuzz to use as the center of all the flowers adding a 3D element to the piece.
I had a really fun time being pushed out of my comfort zone by having to use unconventional materials.
