The Central Fraser Valley Graphics Guild is proud to present Through the Local Lens, a special art exhibit at the Kariton Art Gallery from May 3 – 31, 2025.

The Central Fraser Valley Graphic Guild (established in 1977) is a group of local artists living in BC’s Fraser Valley whose purpose since its time of origin was to promote art in our community and offer support to other artists. Artists of the CFV Graphic Guild come from a variety of educational and artistic backgrounds, levels of expertise and style, which has contributed to an enriching and stimulating artistic environment. The show, Through the Local Lens, depicts art from the personal perspectives of local artists as they interpret their neighbourhoods, scenes they have found inspiring or solely from themselves, revealing something unique. This show includes a wide range of visual art forms, such as drawing, watercolour, oil and acrylic painting, pastels, mixed media, from traditional realistic art to vibrant abstracts.
