Artist Statement:
Spirit Bear is the protector of the ecosystem. This sculpture has a male and female figure, these two bodies are meeting in the middle. The male figure is rough and has several levels, the female figure is smooth and flows quite fluidly. In the middle of the sculpture there is a hole and when you put your hand through, one can feel the softness or the roughness of the other.
