Working Hard - Sid Clarke
16 X 20 Framed Print
$200.00
Sid’s interest in photography began in the early 70’s after discussing the subject with a fellow employee. The first camera purchased was a Pentax and photographs of all subjects was the order of the day.
A photography night school course in Langley increased his technical knowledge and piqued an interest in developing film, so the next step was building a darkroom in the basement. Experimentation in black and white, sepia and colour development followed naturally.
The arrival of digital cameras and computers allowed Sid to be more experimental with his photography.
Sid enjoys capturing the beauty and quixotic nature of the world around him, recording the evolution of family life and documenting the present for future generations.
Sid is mostly self-taught, although courses, classes and photo club memberships have enhanced and strengthened his pursuit of photography and broadened his vision from merely recording a scene to enhancing it using computers and technology.
