Artist Statement:
In the last couple of years I have been painting local landscapes, Plein Air to start and then finishing them in the studio. This double process allows me to enjoy the freshness of painting on location combined with the time needed to explore the details.

Paul Eccles is an emerging painter, currently living in Abbotsford, B.C. Challenging people’s perspectives, as well as ability to engage with open mind and wit, have enabled his expressive painting style to continue to develop from life experiences.
