Artist Statement:
There is a sad irony in the beautiful creature sent to watch over you, becoming distracted. This angel is reaching out, subtly, as though she may scare something away. As we watch her, one can only imagine what she is seeking. Has she abandoned us, or do we not yet understand what she is doing?
Artist Bio
Art has been my passion since a young age. I am thankful to have been raised in a family that recognized my desire to pursue art and supported me with lessons to help my artistic ability to bloom. I have taken private lessons in watercolour since I was very young, and have also had the opportunity to take a course on hyperrealistic drawing under a traditional art master. I have lived in Abbotsford, British Columbia my entire life, and have been involved in the artistic community as an art instructor. I am now pursuing a career in tattooing. My other passions include literature, sciences and travelling. Art has always been the most influential part of my life and I am excited to continue to pursue an artistic career and lifestyle.
