WE INVITE YOU TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE ABBOTSFORD ARTS COUNCIL

The Abbotsford Arts Council was created to develop and enhance the arts in the Abbotsford community.  The Arts Council consists of members, volunteers, and directors representing the diverse artistic, economic, political, and cultural interests of community members of all ages.

• Group (where applicable) and/or Individual Membership in good standing is requirement for submitting applications and participation in various Arts Council programs and events, performance opportunities and exhibition opportunities to show and sell art in Kariton Gallery. Please call for specific membership requirements for any events that arise for which you would like to apply.
• The Abbotsford Arts Council is a resource for arts information.  Members and member groups are encouraged to pick up or drop off information about arts and culture events  to be displayed in the Artist Resource Room.
• Members in good standing are entitled to one voice or vote in the election of the Directors of the Abbotsford Arts Council.  Member groups in good standing are entitled to one representative voice or vote in the election of Directors
• Members and member groups receive a copy of the "Eye on the Arts" newsletter sent by email. 
• Member groups are provided with the opportunity to use Kariton Gallery for one meeting, class, rehearsal or event per month. 
• Member groups in good standing may choose to participate in the Abbotsford Arts Council 's Group Liability Insurance Program.  This program was created to provide member groups with affordable liability insurance.
