The drawings and paintings of “Thread of Line” are a collection of images found during walks through local forests in the Fraser Valley.
Developing images by examining an emotional response to the constant changes in the lines of trees: the shadows deepen then move again to reveal new shapes when the light bursts through. It is constant and alive. These images and handspun yarns, dyed in forest hues, combine the study of line and movement in a journey through fibre and drawing.
